Yarmouk University / Language Center announces the resumption of the English level exam that is equivalent to the postgraduate students as of today. Those wishing to apply for the exam should visit the Language Center at Yarmouk University as of Thursday morning, 18/6/2020. Yarmouk University announces the start of receiving applications for the BA in the parallel program for the summer semester 2019/2020 for students who have received the high school or equivalent.

The application process starts on Tuesday, 09/06/2020 until Sunday evening 21/06/2020. Students can pay the fees for applications through any branch of Cairo Amman Bank in the Kingdom or eFAWATEERcom until Sunday evening, 22/06/2020. Students must follow their e-mails added in the application in addition to the YU website to follow up on their applications. Any application not meeting the conditions for admission will be cancelled.

Minimum admission:

(80%) In engineering and pharmacy specialties.

 (75%) In the specialties of the Faculty of Sharia.

 (65%) In the rest of the specialties.

- Achieving a minimum admission rate does not mean acceptance since the vacancy should be available.

- Applicants for the specialties of the Faculty of Arts are subjected to an abilities test to be announced later.

- Applicants for the physical education major are subjected to the medical examination scheduled by the Faculty of Physical Education.

1. The original high school grades transcript in Arabic for those who have received the Jordanian High School.

2- 75% of the approved hour fees are refunded only if the student withdraws from the university during the first week of starting the study according to the university calendar.

3- 50% of the approved hour fees only if the student withdraws from the university during the second week of starting the study according to the university calendar.

4- 25% of the approved hour fees are refunded only if the student withdraws from the university during the third week of starting the study according to the university calendar.

5- In cases where the student got accepted then he/she withdraws from the university after the end of the third week of starting the study, nothing will be refunded except for the damage refunds (insurances).

Please note that the transfer applications from one major to another (for BA students) are now available online for students who meet the requirements for moving from one specialty to another until the end of the second semester 2019/2020 from Thursday, 28-5-2020 until the end of Sunday, 28-6-2020. Please follow the steps below:

1. Login to the student information system (sis.yu.edu.jo).

2. Choose the "apply transfer application".

3. Choose the specialty to be transferred to from the list of specialties available then click the save button in the "Transfer application Options" field.

4. The application you submitted can be deleted at any time to be replaced with another or it can be permanently deleted through selecting the Check Box in the "application you submitted" field then click the "delete" button.

* You must meet the transfer requirements; otherwise, a screen will appear if you do not fulfill any of the requirements.

* The transfer application fee will be rebutted on the student's financial account, listed below.

* Please read and review all the notes, details and the transfer conditions below.

Important notes:

. There is no transfer to the majors of medicine, Architecture, and Cyber Security.

There is no transfer from one major to another within the Faculty of Fine Arts.

  • Applications that have not met the requirements will not be considered.
  • The results will be announced at the beginning of the summer semester 2019/2020.
  • A transfer application fee in the regular program is (5) JD (it will be rebutted on the student's financial account).
  • A transfer application fee in the parallel program is (10) dinars (it will be rebutted on the student's financial account.
  • Apply one transfer application and choose only one specialty.
  • The student must not have been moved from one specialty to another.
  • The student must not have been dismissed from the departamrnt he wishes to be transferred to.
  • Students who have been accepted at the Faculty of Fine Arts cannot transfer to other specialties on the regular program but on the parallel program.
  • Students with high school rates of less than (80%) cannot transfer to the disciplines of the Faculties of Pharmacy and Hajjawi Engineering even if they meet other conditions.
  • Students with school rates of less than (75%) cannot transfer to the specialties of the Faculty of Shari'ah even if they meet other conditions.
  • Students who wish to transfer to the Faculty of Physical Education must pass the prescribed medical examination.
  • The specialties of Child education and Class Teacher are for females only.
  • Applying for transfer and fulfilling the conditions do not mean that the student will be transferred. This is based on the vacancies available.

Dear students,

Based on the decisions of the Higher Education Council, the mechanism for selecting the calculation of the course with either a grade or the pass/fail option has been computerized for the current second semester for the BA students through (https://sis.yu.edu.jo). A field for the final grade (percent) will appear for the course immediately after the grade is approved by the course teacher (only for courses with a grade not with the option of pass/fail. An email will be sent to your accounts on (@ses.yu.edu.jo) immediately after the grade is approved by the teacher, so you will have the opportunity to choose the mechanism for calculating the course with either a "grade" or "pass/fail" within a maximum of 72 hours for each course (after filling out the questionnaire of evaluating the performance of the faculty staff of the courses concerned).

In case you do not select one of the options, the course will be automatically approved by a grade.

Therefore, please check your emails and login to the student information system continuously to choose the mechanism of choosing to calculate the course within the available time of 72 hours.

Please bring the following documents below to complete the procedures of postponing the military service. The documents are important for completing the registration and the process of add and removal. They include the following:

* Military service book.

* Family book.

* Copy of the yellow identification card and the occupation permit for those who carry it.

* Required financial Fees:-

- One JD for those under 25 years old.

- Five dinars for those above 25 until reaching the legal age. The period of postponment is 5 years.

- For students with the age (36), the postponment would be four years and the financial fee is (4) JD; for students aged (37), the service can be postponed for 3 years with (3) JD as a financial fee.  As for students aged (38), the service is postponed for (2) JD as a financial fee and for students aged (39), the service can be postponed for 1 year with (1) JD as a financial fee.

Yarmouk university announces the availability of various training opportunities from the Ministry of Digital Economy and leadership, the program of training and employment of graduates of the communication and information technology sector according to the following conditions:


* The trainee must work full-time at Yarmouk University.
* The period of training is one year - 220 JD is the monthly salary.
* S/He should not have a social security number according to his/her work in an institution after graduation, knowing that those enrolled in the optional social security are accepted.
* the trainee should be a resident of Irbid governorate, and according to the place of residence installed on the ID card.
* the trainee should be a graduate in one of the communication and information technology majors.
* The trainee must have at least a "good" averge.
