The High Committee for the Management of the University competency-based test in the Higher Education Accreditation And Quality Assurance Authority decided to hold the second and final makeup university competency-based test for all students inside and outside the Kingdom on Thursday 6/8/2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The test will last for only one hour for each student from the moment of entry. The committee hopes that all students will commit to take the exam on time since it is the last chance to apply otherwise the next session of the test will be at the end of the first semester of the academic year 2020/2021.

Yarmouk universities announces the launch of the Diploma program in the art of teaching and learning on the first semester 2020/2021. The dates of receiving the applications in this program, which will be presented by the faculty of education, will be announced later on the university website.

The make-up exam of the courses presented by the Language Center will be held online on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 for students whose incomplete applications were approved as well as students who have missed the session of 15/6/2020 or those who had technical problems during the exam as shown below:

First session at 11:00 for Arabic courses 

AL099 and AL101

Second session at 12:00 for English courses

EL099 and EL101

The incomplete exam will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. through the Quizz platform, e-Learning for the last semester through the website of each of the teachers of the National Education sections (i.e. each student will take the exam through E-Learning for his teacher for the second semester). Not taking the exam would result in having a zero score.

The final exam for the Computer Skills Course (SCI108) will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m through Quizz platform.

The (supplementary) Competency- Based Test will be held for students expected to graduate in the second and summer semesters of the 2019/2020 academic year (online).



1- for students specialized in Medicine and surgery (basic and clinical) , the test will be held on Monday 6-7-2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

2- for students in the rest of the university's specialties, the test will be held on Thursday 9-7-2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.


Please be committed to take the exam on time knowing that it will last for only one hour.

Yarmouk University announces the start of applications for bachelor's degree in parallel and international programs for the first semester 2019/2020 for students who have received high school or equivalent as follows:

- Non-Jordanian students in the international programs to specialize in medicine and parallel in the rest of majors.

- Jordanian students (who receive non-Jordanian high school or jordanian high school in previous years) in the parallel program for all disciplines.

Note: Applications for Jordanian high school students will be opened for the current year after the issuance of the high school results.

Application sits on Monday, 22/07/2019, and students can pay the application fees through the Financial Department at Yarmouk University or at any branch of Cairo Amman Bank in the Kingdom, and students should follow up their e-mails put in the applications in addition to the university website, in order to follow up their applications, and any non-eligible application will be cancelled.

Second: The conditions for admission:

Minimum admission:·

(85%) In the discipline of medicine and for the scientific branch only.

 (80%) In pharmacy and engineering disciplines.

 (75%) In the disciplines of the Faculty of Sharia.

 (65%) In the rest of the disciplines.

Achieving a minimum admission rate does not mean that acceptance is necessary, but that the vacancy should be available.

Applicants for the disciplines of the Faculty of Arts are subjected to an abilities test to be announced later.

- Applicants for the sports education major are subjected to the medical examination scheduled by the Faculty of Physical Education.

Third: the documents required at the time of acceptance (not refunded):

  1. The original high school grades transcript in Arabic for those who have received the Jordanian High School.
  2. high school certificate equivalents from the Jordanian Ministry of Education and a copy of the transcript for students who have non-Jordanian high school that needs to be equated, or the original high school certificates certified by the Jordanian Ministry of Education for certificates that do not need to be equated.
  3. A certified copy of a valid passport and birth certificate for non-Jordanian students.
  4. A certified copy of the identity of the civil status and the birth certificate of Jordanian students.
  5. A certified copy of the security identification card issued by the security centers in the Directorate of Public Security for Syrian students.
  6. Two personal photos (4*6) cm.

Fourth: Admission fee (not refundable except insurance fee):

In the international program:

  1. ($50) application fee paid upon application.
  2. ($360) acceptance fee.
  3. ($14) Internet service charge (optional subscription).
  4. ($187.5) service fee paid with fees of studying hours.

Fifth: University fees are refunded for the new student in the parallel and international programs in the following cases:

1- 90% of  the approved hour fees are refunded only if the student withdraws from the university before starting the study according to the university calendar.

2- 75% of the approved hour fees are refunded only if the student withdraws from the university during the first week of starting the study according to the university calendar.

3- 50% of the approved hour fees are refunded only if the student withdraws from the university during the second week of starting the study according to the university calendar.

4- 25% of the approved hour fees are refunded only if the student withdraws from the university during the third week of starting the study according to the university calendar.

5- In cases where the student accepts or withdraws from the university after the end of the third week of starting the study, nothing is refunded except the damage refunds (insurances).

The deanship of student affairs at Yarmouk University invites students who want to benefit from the financial assistance from the University for the first semester of the university year 2019/2020, review of the head of the Department of Loans and Assistance/Student Services Department in the deanship of Student Affairs office No. (121) or office No. (114) to receive the form approved and prepared for this purpose as of Thursday, 11/7/2019, and the deadline to deliver the application to the same office, supported by the documents requested and set out in the request for assistance, is Tuesday, 30 July 2019, the target group of students are:

Orphans whose families receive monthly aid from the Ministry of Social Development.
-Whose parents are unable to work for health reasons or are very old and have no fixed income.
-Those with two and more brothers/sisters are studying in universities and the income is low.
-Those with social and family problems that affect their maintenance.

The Dean of scientific Research and graduate studies announces the initiation of applications to transfer from the comprehensive examination track to the thesis track and vice versa for the Summer semester 2018/2019 electronically, through the Student Information System (SIS), starting from Sunday, 7/7/2019 until the evening of Sunday 14/7/2019. No request will be accepted after this date, nor will any paper request be adopted.

 Note: transfer applications for any major will only be considered when a supervisor is available, and the supervisory director is allowed to do so in accordance with the instructions.

Terms and conditions to submit transition requests:

The Council of Deans at its session No. (45/2018) on the date of 3/12/2018 decided that concerning the conditions of transferring from the comprehensive exam to thesis that the student who want to transfer study  should finish studying (18) credit hours of his study plan (comprehensive exam  track) at a rate of at least (80%), subject to availability of supervisor from the academic department of the student.

Note: All previous transfer applications made by students are void.
