Upper Elementary and Secondary Stage Management (females)

Praise be to God, who created humankind and taught them eloquence, and opened before them the doors of knowledge and learning for advancement and progress.

The secondary school stage for girls witnesses the most significant changes a student undergoes, shaping the contours of her future personality. This necessitates a highly specialized approach from the administration, focusing on psychological and emotional well-being through guidance and therapeutic support. We are committed to helping them acquire knowledge and experience, develop their personalities holistically, and enjoy a healthy, safe, and democratic social life, actively engaging with the community. We strive to understand their needs, desires, and interests, and work to fulfill them within a stimulating and creative academic environment.

The secondary school for girls comprises grades 7 through 12, distributed across sixteen sections on the third floor of the old model school building. The student body consists of 472 students and 33 highly qualified teachers from various disciplines, all dedicated to enhancing the quality of education.

To prepare a generation of distinguished young women, excelling in worldly, moral, and academic pursuits, keeping pace with technological advancements, loyal to their nation, and creative in their thinking and skills, through a well-structured educational system and qualified teachers, with active community participation.

Objectives:

  • To raise students' academic achievement while developing their intellectual and mental skills.
  • To build well-rounded individuals capable of facing the future and keeping pace with technological developments.
  • To raise students' awareness of social, cultural, and professional life issues.
  • To cultivate a spirit of loyalty and belonging among students and strengthen their sense of citizenship.
  • To conduct various training courses for teachers to enhance their teaching performance.
  • To raise the professional competence of teachers and strengthen their commitment to the profession.
  • To develop students' intellectual and creative abilities, critical thinking skills, and promote self-directed learning. Training female students to be self-reliant in solving various problems.
  • Providing remedial programs to improve the academic performance of struggling female students.

Yarmouk University - Model School
The school was established in 1979/1980 and operates according to its own specific guidelines, aiming to provide educational services to the children of employees at Yarmouk University and the University of Science and Technology, as well as members of the local community.
