Board of Directors Responsibilities
The Board carries out the following tasks:
- Establishing admission criteria for the school and determining student numbers in each grade.
- Approving the curricula and additional programs adopted by the school to enrich its programs.
- Discussing the school's budget and submitting it to the President.
- Proposing the amount of school fees to the President.
- Approving the formats of certificates issued by the school.
- Forming specialized committees as needed by the school.
- Recommending to the University Council to open new programs, cancel existing programs, or suspend admission to a specific educational stage, if it serves the interest of the school and the university.
- Providing opinions on any other matters related to the school's objectives as presented by the Board Chairman.
- Approving the tasks of coordinators and supervisors based on the Director's recommendation.
- Determining teachers' teaching loads, provided it is not less than (18) eighteen hours per week.
- Discussing and approving exam results, and developing improvement plans based on the results.
- Determining teachers' tasks including activities and training courses during school holidays, according to criteria approved by the Deans' Council.
