On behalf of Yarmouk University represented by members of the teaching and administrative staff, the President of Yarmouk University, Prof. Zeidan Kafafi, expressed sincerest congratulations for all Jordanians regarding the historic Hashemite decision associated with restoring Al-Baqoura and Al-Ghamr, as declared by His Majesty during his speech at the opening of the Fourth Ordinary Session of the Eighteenth National Assembly.

Kafafi stressed that this decision is a victory for the political will of Jordan represented by His Majesty the King, a victory that affirms the sovereignty of Jordan over all its territories and its insistence not to compromise any of its rights at any cost. He stated that this decision, coinciding with the birthday of His Majesty the late King Hussein Bin Talal, confirms that the tireless efforts of King Hussein have resulted in making Jordan a leading country in the quest for justice and prosperity. Also, Kafafi pointed out that Jordan's restoration of its territories should inspire the great efforts exerted by the international forums in America, Europe, and Asia to solidify peace and comply with the international law, which demands ending the Arab-Palestinian-Israeli conflict based on a two-state solution that guarantees both sides to live in security and safety. Moreover, Kafafi stressed that the family of Yarmouk University will always serve the Hashemite leadership as a university of the whole country and that it will always be keen to provide its students with care and enrich their spirit of loyalty, citizenship, and belonging.
